The things that set the Sedremm compression socks apart, are the color scheme and variety, as well us the versatility, and most of all comfort. I am disabled with pain to the touch on my body. I ordered these to help with swelling and pain during travel and when wearing boots in the winter. They are a snap to put on. Just gather them to the toe, start there, and pull up your leg. The soft material did not hurt my hands, nor does it cut into my leg at the knee. It does provide a medium compression. Not very tight, yet not too loose. I ordered these for my husband to wear under his military clothes to keep him dry and prevent chafing from his gear straps. That's important under desert conditions.
