This turned out to be a very nice carrier. It came with a bonus kitty door for your home. There is plenty of nice soft padding in the bottom. It is removable to wash as well. Plenty of mesh allows kitty to see you and a zippered openeing allows you to pet or give treats easily. Being a military wife, having it airline approved was a must.
