I just want to start out by saying that I love these! I've had many knives, but none like this. These knives cut through things with ease! They cut through tomatoes with ease, with out squashing them. They have a nice grip on them, and they are very, very sharp. I've accidently cut my self with them a few times already. This set is a ceramic knife set. They come in a nice gift box. It's a great gift for any occassion, or just a gift for your self. I would suggest these to chefs, or day to day cooks.
