I ordered this for my husband's classical guitar. The back is made of dry cherry wood and very easy to mount to the wall. The holder screwed into the back easily. The color is neutral to the wood. It is great to have a safe place to hang it rather than in the corner. The guitar does not sway and does not get scratched by the hook. Very eye catching.
