This is a memory foam cushion that really does retain it's shape very well. I use mine mainly while driving, but also at my desk. With hip problems and lower back problems, this is such a great help! I love that it is washable and that it doesn't flatten over time. I am usually someone who dislikes a firm padding, but in this case it works great. They say these pillows halp adjust bad posture by sitting better. That is definitely a bonus too. Over time due to pain, my posture is not as it once was. Great pillow.
