I never knew these existed...lol. They are great. They are made of flexible rubber material with steel studs on the bottom for traction. They are not noticeable on boots, etc. You can fit them over any shoe. The large fits women's shoes 8 to 12 and men's 7 to 11. I tested them on wet tile floors in my kitchen. I did not skid and fall. I tested them in a muddy area outside. They worked there too.I have chronic pain in my hands and had no trouble putting these on. I will use these in many situations like hiking, in the winter, etc.
