We like to primitive camp. Finding the way to potty can be rough and creepy really. All out in the woods alone. We also hike and take our survival bags. This headlamp was oh so welcome.
It is waterproof, rechargeable (by wall plug or car adapter), has three settings (high, low, flashing), and is adjustable. I can't say how long the batteries last since I have not run them out yet. I have used them all evening and into the night late though. The light is nice and bright with a wide field of vision (to see creepers in the woods). The light is also rotational to see where you need while moving. It is easily turned on and modes changed with a push button instead of a switch. It also came with a camo mini flashlight that is very durable and just as bright. It is freeing to hike hands free of lighting. This is all $18.99 on Amazon. It can also be found on Ebay for a little more. Check it out. It's just in time for outdoor season, but can be used at work too. I haven't found any issues so far.
