I came across this author on Twitter. I am glad I did. She offered me a free book to get to know her. There is a varied genre I could choose from. I chose The Helavite War. It has been since the Halo series, that I found a space series that would interest me. I was surprised to find it is not just geared towards men or sci-fi. There is a litle in there for man, woman, or child. The story delves into relationships, what if, and more while you follow mercenaries through their adventures and battles. The language is complicated enough for the advanced reader, yet easily read by any teen. We are led through the fights, what things we may face in meeting alien life, and how we would face forming relationships. I love a good battle, so I had that too. As this mercenary meets an alien, both their lives will change forever. Her books are offered many places like Amazon and Goodreads. This book was offered on Ebook and paperback. I found she offers audiobooks as well. I look forward to continuing this series and her others.
